Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away

Mumbai: Noted Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan (54) has passed away. Irfan Khan has been suffering from a rare form of cancer for the past several years. Fans were shocked by the first announcement of his illness in March 2018. Irrfan’s mother Saeeda Begum (95) was found dead in Jayapura in Rajasthan on Saturday. His mother, who was stranded in Mumbai due to a lockdown, was also unable to attend the funeral.
Irfan had previously been diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Irrfan, who came to India after treatment, recently acted in ‘Angreji Medium’.
Irfan was not even involved in the promotions of the film due to illness. He did not sign any film after ‘Angreji Medium’. He was taken to Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai after suffering another serious illness yesterday. Irfan died on Wednesday morning while receiving treatment. Irrfan starred in the movie Soldier in Telugu. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2011.
