Tadeepalli: TTD chairman YV Subbaradi said that no decision has been taken yet on the sale of Tithe land. There are no rules regarding the auction. Some people are ignorant that they are doing it without making any decision. He said he would discuss the next board meeting and make decisions. He spoke to the media amid criticism over the sale of Tithi’s assets.

“Don’t spread any lies about Srivari’s assets. To sell tithi lands only Rs 53 crores worth of land? The previous government sold many valuable lands. We are being perpetrated with just political opposition. We are the ones who have been blocked by the courts when Sadavarthi lands were sold during the last government regime when they were in opposition. Every rupee given to pilgrims to Titheti is spent as a liability. Our intention is to protect Titti’s assets, ”Subbaradi said.

States should be encouraged in digital India

” The sale of alienated lands and underutilized assets in Tithede is nothing new. When Chadalawada Krishnamurthy Titide was chairman, it was decided to sell the lands. They have shown that they are away from Tirupati. The BJP members who are now criticizing us are also board members. We have not yet made any decision regarding the auction. At the board meeting, we decided to send a delegation and make a road map of the market value and conditions. Nowhere have we been ordered to bid. After the report of the situation, we decided to take a decision on the next board. Radharanatham is being made before any decision is taken. We have only reviewed the old resolution. We decide what actions to take rather than selling assets. We take the advice of religious elders and experts
