Delhi: Two months later, the planes again flew. Domestic flights started from midnight tonight. The first flight arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi this morning. The airline has made stringent arrangements in the wake of the resumption of services as the corona virus virus continues to plague the country. Hygiene standards are adhered to at domestic terminals at all airports. The thermal screening was conducted for all passengers.

Everyone took care to wear masks. Arrangements have also been made to maintain social distance at airports. Staff also attended special functions, wearing special protective kits. Travellers were also very alert. “I was very worried before boarding the plane,” said one passenger who arrived in Pune. But all the travellers took good care.A large number of passengers booked tickets after the flight opened several days later. In the first instalment, there were reports of mostly paramilitary personnel, military personnel, students and migrant workers. There are more people who fail to book train tickets.

However, some travellers in Delhi have complained that the cost of getting to the airports is due to the lack of local travel. Food and soft drink outlets have been opened at the respective airports. All states except Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal have renewed flights. Flights will start from AP on Wednesday and West Bengal on Thursday. On the other hand, there is confusion as to how the guidelines issued by several states differ in their quarantine of flight passengers.
