Fruits and Vegetables by Andhra Greens

Amravati: Agriculture Minister Kannababu has made it clear that the farmers of the state will not be affected under any circumstances. He launched the Andhra Greens website on Wednesday for marketing agricultural and horticultural products from farmers across the state . Speaking on the occasion, the minister said, “Farmers keep information about their products and consumers are also able to place orders online.” The minister said that this kind of online marketing systems are being promoted to solve this problem. Swiggy and Zomato are already selling fruit and vegetables. Andhra Greens will serve the state in the same way, the minister said.

Out of 43 lakh hectares of horticultural crops in the state, 305 lakh metric tonnes of fruits and vegetables have been produced. He said 8.12 lakh fruit kits were distributed across the state during the Kovid crisis. He said 18 lakh metric tonnes of fruits and vegetables were sold in the state. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate farmer’s reassurance centers on the 30th of this month.

Minister Kannababu said that there was no truth in the allegations made by the opposition that horticultural crops were not getting the right amount. Chandrababu confused farmers with unrealistic realities. He alleged that during the Tedepa period, no crop had a proper support price. Similarly, Chandrababu, who did not care about the farmers in the past, is now talking about them.
